John was on a deployment in Italy in the winter of 2011, but Anna was able to come out to visit him for Christmas. Little did she know that while enjoying the beautiful sights of Italy, John would ask her the most important question of their lives. John and Anna decided to get married in a local church in Portsmouth, VA. Their chosen date of April 6, 2013, proved to be a beautiful spring day and a perfect time for John and Anna to be married. It was a simple and tasteful church wedding filled with friends and family.
