Baby Reveal
When my brother-in-law and sister-in-law found out the gender of their baby, they chose not to tell anyone right away, and instead, they did something creative. The night before the reveal party, she made a cake and used food coloring to dye the interior the color of the baby’s gender. She and my brother-in-law iced the cake to hide the interior color. She then made a bunch of little owls pins, some pink and some blue. They had all of the guests predict the gender of the baby by picking one of the owls and writing their name in either pink or blue on a piece of paper. All of the guests wore the owl that matched their prediction around until the big reveal. This way everyone at the party would know what their guess was. Finally, the time came for them to cut the cake and reveal to their friends and family what the sex of their child would be. Everyone gathered around the cake trying to get the first glimpse of the cake’s color. They sliced the cake, and it was PINK. They are having a girl. Congratulations to both of them.
