SACWPL Championship Tournament 2015
With three teams tied for first in the Northern Division and a lot of very close games in the Southern division this year, the SACWPL Championship Tournament was shaping up to be a very competitive tournament. Last weekend, June 2nd and 3rd, Greensboro, NC, hosted the 3rd annual SACWPL Championship Tournament 2015, and the games lived up to the hype. All of the games were very close; most ended with the winning team only having a one or two point lead. At the end of Saturday, Dynamo won bracket A, but there was a 3 way tie between Richmond, Arlington, and Charlotte for the winner of bracket B. After the official reviewed the rule book, it was determined Charlotte would face Dynamo in the championship game on Sunday. After four great quarters of play, the defending two-time champions, Dynamo defeated Charlotte 11-7 defending their SACWPL title.
